Getting Admitted Into Our Addiction Program

Our admissions team will conduct a clinical assessment over the phone to determine if our program is the best fit for you or your loved one prior to traveling in. If you are local, we will set up a face-to-face interview in our offices to complete the initial evaluation. During this interview we will explore your substance use, mental health and medical history, your goals for treatment and together we will develop an initial treatment plan. Part of this assessment will help us to determine if there are any urgent medical concerns related to your current substance use. We work with trusted facilities in the area that can provide detoxification for our clients when necessary. Our physicians are also very experienced working with substance use and can provide outpatient detoxification services when appropriate.

The Pre-Admissions Process

Family Recovery Specialists is aware treatment can be a huge financial commitment and a major sacrifice for families. During the pre-admissions process, FRS is able to check your insurance policy in order to explore the possibility of utilizing out-of-network insurance benefits. Insurance policies and benefits vary greatly, so it is important we understand your specific policy’s coverage. Our admissions department will help you obtain this information on your policy and will then inform you of the benefits and the financial cost to you. Unlike some programs, FRS does collect all deductibles and copays, as required by the insurance companies. We will do everything we can to maximize your benefits and provide you with the best clinical care legally and ethically allowable under your policy. In addition, we offer competitive self-pay rates for treatment should you not be able to utilize insurance for any reason. We provide treatment recommendations based on our clinical experience and expertise and we do not allow insurance companies to dictate the treatment plan.
