OUR UNIQUE APPROACH TO ADDICTION TREATMENT
The compassionate and fully certified staff here at Family Recovery Specialists know that addiction is a family disease. That’s why we work to incorporate the family into every aspect of treatment. We believe that having a strong home support system is a vital component to successful recovery.
HOW IS FAMILY RECOVERY SPECIALISTS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER TREATMENT CENTERS?
Besides featuring an array of treatment approaches and low clinician-to-client ratios, we provide family and adolescent care. FRS aims to incorporate the family unit into every level of treatment on behalf of the client. With regard to adolescents, we have developed a program that takes into consideration their unique psychological and physiological needs. Plus, we administer bilingual services to meet the needs of a diverse population.
DO YOU SPECIALIZE IN ANY KIND OF SERVICE?
As a Delphi Behavioral Health-affiliated site, we specialize in offering individualized treatment services to adults, adolescents, and families, eschewing the cookie-cutter approach employed by many rehabilitation facilities in the area.
Plus, we offer an intensive outpatient treatment program (IOP) that allows clients and families to participate in regular therapy with the freedom and flexibility to live at home.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?
We are open every day, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR CLIENTS SAY ABOUT YOU?
Our clients will say that we provide the kind of individualized attention, tough love, and care of a family member invested in your health and well-being. They will also talk about our demonstrated ability to carve out a comprehensive, attainable, and clear-cut plan for their recovery.
Here are examples of what three clients have actually said:
“I came here initially for my son, and I wound up taking care of myself. I found hope here. I found the pathway to sobriety here.”
—Rick E.
“I worked with these professionals for years at South Miami Hospital Addiction Treatment Program and they are truly Specialists on this field. If you are serious about getting help for you or a loved one, the help needed is available there.”
—Gustavo D.
“Have known FRS for years, and have always found them to be knowledgeable, professional, and ethical…always with the best interests of the client and family at heart. I do not hesitate to recommend them, as a matter of fact, if I had a loved one that needed help, FRS would be on the shortlist. Thanks, guys, for all you do.”

At FRS, we have cultivated a family-centered environment where our licensed and experienced staff can help you engage in the critical work of healing and recovery. We accomplish this by incorporating the family into our treatment programs on behalf of the client. Because when the client is unwell, so is the family. We believe in this philosophy so much that it is embedded in our name.
By emphasizing family, we understand the critical role the collective unit plays in the health and restoration of a person with an addiction.
We also understand that not every client has the ability to put life on hold to pursue treatment. This is why we offer an intensive outpatient treatment program (IOP), which is the highest level of care that allows a client to live independently, either at home or some other arrangement.
We grant clients access to a range of therapies, from time-tested, evidence-based approaches to alternative ones.
FRS also recognizes the pervasiveness of substance addiction in that it impacts virtually every age group. Because of peer pressure and other factors, adolescents are among the populations most vulnerable to alcohol and drug use.
In fact, alcohol and marijuana continue to be the most common substances of abuse among teens, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Because substance abuse can devastate the lives and future prospects of adolescents, we have comprehensive treatment options aimed at their complete healing, restoration, and sobriety.
Finally, we understand and appreciate the array of perspectives and learning styles our clients bring, so we present services to meet people from traditional and non-traditional backgrounds.
Plus, we are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and accept many of the major insurance carriers.
